The Coastal Conservation Association of Louisiana is a non-profit
organization dedicated to the conservation of coastal fisheries
and marine resources for the benefit and enjoyment of future
generations of coastal anglers. Founded in 1983, CCA Louisiana
(then Gulf Coast Conservation Association) has been instrumental
in banning gill nets in state waters, establishing redfish
as a gamefish and ensuring good stewardship of Louisiana’s
coastal resources. By joining CCA Louisiana, you become part
of the most effective voice for the proper conservation of
Louisiana’s marine resources.
CCA Louisiana’s S.T.A.R. (the Statewide Tournament and
Anglers Rodeo) continues to be the premiere saltwater fishing
tournament in Louisiana. The tournament runs for 101 days
and offers $500,000 in prizes.
CCA Louisiana is able to successfully continue our mission
thanks to an army of volunteers and many generous partners
like Blue Runner Beans.
