Violet’s Salad Dressing

Instructions:

Step 1 In a food processor, blend the egg and egg yolks for 2 minutes.

Step 2 Leave the machine running and gradually add the oil in a thin stream.

Step 3 Then add the remaining ingredients and blend until thoroughly mixed.

Step 4 Refrigerate until ready to use. Makes about 3 cups.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil (can substitute for olive oil)
  • 1 cup green onions
  • 1/2 cup canned tomato sauce
  • 1 tbs white vinegar
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
